Occasionally there are celebrity collections which change my mind, however. There are some very impressive and very coveted collections such as Amy Winehouse's collaborations with Fred Perry , L.A.M.B by Gwen Stefani, House of Harlow by Nicole Richie and Twenty8Twelve by Sienna Miller and her sister Savannah, which are very successful and all directly emulate the celebrity's personal style.
The latest celebrity collection that I've discovered comes from a well-known reality TV star... therefore all the more reason to dislike the clothes? Well so you would think. However, Dee V by Diana Vickers for Very.co.uk, is surprisingly appealing. The pieces, which include dresses, tops, jeans, a playsuit and an exceptional statement coat, are all extremely wearable- and even better, are not ridiculously over-priced.

Diana Vickers first came to our attention on The X Factor back in 2008 with her enviable voice and unbrushable hair. But soon, she became better known for her outfits, which were always a medley of bohemian hippie-chic and quirky posh girl. When she was voted off in the semi-finals, we knew that it wouldn't be the last we'd see of her. Vickers quickly became a front-row fixture at numerous fashion weeks, a star of the West End in the Little Voice musical, was nominated for "Best Dressed Women Of The Year" at the Clothes Show Style Awards in 2010 and has now just became the face of best-selling makeup range Collection 2000. Oh, and in amongst all that, she released an album too.
But her biggest achievement so far has been her fashion line with Very.co.uk. The debut collection, launched in May this year, was a best-seller and her second collection looks to be following suit.
These are the best pieces from her latest collection- Autumn/Winter '11- which was just released in July. It was inspired by the 60's and Diana's favourite TV show, Mad Men. This is very evident with the vintage vibe to the entire collection. From the cut of the dresses- shift dresses, A-line hems and midi skirts- to the feminine, floral prints, they are retro yet modern, boho yet fresh and very much like Diana's own style- which is why it's going to be such a success.
My favourite pieces are the turquoise bird skirt and the vintage print dress. Whats yours?
