'All The Riches A Girl Can Have'- Vogue Japan October 2012

The October 2012 issue of Vogue Japan brings us decadence and opulence crossed with the extravagant stylings of global icon Anna Dello Russo. Dutch model Ymre Stiekema showcases the most glamourous, most expensive pieces of nearly everyone of any importance on the fashion calendar, from Dolce & Gabbana to Jil Sander to Miu Miu. French Renaissance vibes come from Marie Antoinette wigs, white tights and Marc Jacobs' fabulous F/W12 buckle boots. The editorial was shot by esteemed Italian fashion photographer Giampaolo Sgura, whose (wise) motto in life is "never confuse fashion with style and sex with love".

Nasty Gal Fall 2012- 'Weird Science'

Nasty Gal's Fall 2012 collection may not be arriving online until the 27th of August but the campaign shots are already here to tease us. 'Weird Science' brings us Sabrina Nait and Stella Maxwell debuting next seasons collection including punky combat boots courtesy of Nasty Gal's collaboration with Jeffrey Campbell. As for the clothes themselves, they are Nasty Gal all over- leather, studs and bucket loads of attitude. Suitably provocative bodysuits are taken through to Autumn with studding, somewhat practical cosy knitwear is a rainbow of colours and patterns, fringing is added to arms, legs and anywhere else and and dresses will be more low-cut that you've ever seen before. Autumn is here and it's sexier than ever.

Louise Gray for Topshop

High street and designer collaborations are everywhere right now. Mary Katrantzou's instant sell-out line for Topshop, Marni and Versace for H&M and Gold by Giles Deacon for New Look to name but a few, high end designers are increasing their accessibility by offering capsule collections in high street stores at a cheaper price. With more and more people becoming aware of high fashion yet the recession meaning everyone is more financially restricted than ever, collaborations are a hot business right now. And I'm not complaining, if it means bagging a slice of high fashion for a fraction of the original cost.

The latest designer collaboration making a storm is Louise Gray, colour punk extraordinaire, for Topshop. Not just content with making eye-catching, statement clothing, she has also designed a make-up range to be worn alongside them, the very first collaboration ever for Topshop Make Up.  Louise Gray for Topshop will only be dropping in selected stores including London Oxford Circus, Selfridges London, Manchester Arndale and Liverpool but it will be widely available online as of the 23rd of August. Prices will start from £120.

Louise Gray modelling her clothing and make up range for Topshop:

Originally hailing from Fraserburgh, Scotland, Louise Gray has become the darling of recent London Fashion Weeks after sending some of the most vibrant and unique creations down the catwalk. Her A/W 12 show - "I'll Take It"- was inspired by Cyndi Lauper and Debbie Harry in their younger, punkier days and received critical acclaim from the fashion industry, as well as marking a new transition into the high fashion market. Her trademark style is no holds barred- layers upon layers, clashing prints, the brightest colours, statement accessories, crazy make up and wild hairstyles. More is more in Louise Gray's opinion. But the prints work together, each piece in every look could potentially work alone as a separate as well as altogether and the overall style of her collections reflect the punky attitude of the designer herself. Representing the freedom and playfulness that fashion should express in everyone individually, Louise Gray's collections are a break from the mould. And that is something to celebrate.

Jeffrey Campbell Fall 2012- 'Wander Away'

Jeffrey Campbell's new season lookbooks are always a treat and their Fall 2012 one is no exception. 'Wander Away' is the latest offering, and the shoes are as desirable as ever. I'm loving the Everly, Zhora and 99-Two especially.
